About Dr. Katherine Wong
Dr. Wong is a highly accomplished aesthetic dentist who has served the Manhattan clientele for over a decade. At an early age, Dr. Katherine Wong has always loved working with her hands. She excelled in folding origami and building model ships and had a penchant for focusing on minute details. These characteristics would later serve her well in her career as a dentist.
Raised in California, she graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a bachelor’s in Biological Sciences. She felt a calling to explore life outside of California and attended New York University College of Dentistry to earn her doctorate in dental surgery. Soon after completing her residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY, she began training to further her knowledge and skillset by attending yearly seminars, workshops, and conferences.
Her first experience aiding patients during a humanitarian trip to Jamaica left a lasting impression. Throughout her career, she developed a love for helping patients to restore their smiles and confidence as well as educating them in preventative care. Time and experience brought about a new passion for revitalizing teeth and smiles to perfection.
After more than 10 years as an associate, she and Dr. Pole have created The Hudson Yards Dental Studio. She has been a member of Spear Continuing Education since 2012 and is a certified clinician from Digital Smile Design. In addition, she received her certification in botox and fillers to treat facial esthetics and pain. The integration of digital technology and an eye for fine details allows Dr. Wong to enhance a patient’s smile.

The office is very nice along with the friendly staff. They were very tentative to getting me situated. Amazing! Wellness spa and dentist in one! They took so much care in explaining details and even let me watch netflix while cleaning. They also verified all insurance details before any additional services. Overall would highly recommend!

They switched dentists on me. I didn’t see the dentist that I booked an appointment with. Halfway through my appointment another dentist walked in and told me that the dentist I booked an appointment with was on maternity leave. Nothing I could do at that point.
Also the office entrance door was crystal clear glass so I’m sure I’m not the only one who walked right into it. Fix that?
Otherwise a good appt with who I did see.
The experience was rough around edges despite the office’s nice appearance.

Luxe Rx was such a fantastic experience! Dr. Wong was outstanding and provided really valuable feedback regarding my oral health. The office staff and dental assistants were extremely friendly and attentive, and the whole experience was so relaxing. Did a new patient check up and cleaning on Dec 4 2023. The whole process is very comforting (they have some complimentary stuff that can be used during teeth cleaning such as eye mask and headphone to wear during cleaning etc.) Dr Wong is very courteous and helpful too!

Quick and seamless! As someone that hates getting dental X-rays, this was the most pleasant/least painful x-ray experience I’ve had. The under eye masks and blanket during the appt were a lovely added touch!

The appointment was great. Dr. Wong is very attentive. However, they have a very weird way of enforcing their cancellation policy which I had to encounter despite never cancelling an appointment. They want all new patients to write out credit card information on paper but provide no guarantees for securing that information. The alternative is paying $50 just for the privilege of making an appointment. It’s too bad because I think I would have liked to continue seeking dental services there, but the cancellation policy may have scared me away.

Had to get a cleaning and xrays and the whole experience was very soothing. The receptionist Luz was an absolute peach and very helpful. Dr. Wong made sure I was comfortable during my whole visit despite my sensitive teeth. They used a handheld xray machine which took a lot longer than a normal xray but I didn't have to move. They had lots of amenities that made it feel like a spa rather than a dentist office. I had to return for a cavity and Dr. Wong did everything in her power to make sure I wasn't nervous. Really appreciated it! Will be coming back and highly recommend

This was honestly one of the BEST dental experiences I had. I walked in and I felt like I was at a spa or something. The aesthetic of the place is so cute!! As soon as I got into the room, they offered me a fleece blanket, if I wanted any specific music, and also gave me the cutest little goodie bag!!! PLUS their bathroom is stunning. LOVED this experience, definitely would recommend to anyone!!!

Katherine is extremely skilled, patient and an excellent dentist overall. I wish I had found her sooner! I couldn't be happier - I was with this practice for 10 years then tried to get a dentist closer to where i leave but I am back!
My other dentist just told me I needed two cavities fixed and most likely a root canal!
I went to see Dr Wong for a second opinion and only needed one cavity fixed!
I totally trust her judgment - she takes the time to explain to you what is needed - is not trying to oversell services. She did a great painless and efficient job.
Payment was explained to me before the procedure took place.
Very pleasant and professional. i trust them 100% and actually enjoy my visits!
