Dr. Vela was born and raised in South Texas along the Gulf of Mexico, where she grew up enjoying sunny beaches, Texas heat, and Southern barbecue alongside her older siblings. Since relocating to Utah in 2023, she has embraced exploring the mountains and the region's national parks. In her free time, she pursues her passion for the arts through painting and playing the piano. As the youngest of six, Dr. Vela is continually inspired by her family, whose dedication to education and community instilled in her a lifelong passion for learning and service. She earned her degree from Roseman University College of Dental Medicine in South Jordan, Utah. Dr. Vela is passionate about providing evidence-based, patient-centered care and believes every patient deserves to feel comfortable, respected, and informed.
