About Dr. Kristen Rogers

Born and raised on Long Island, Dr. Rogers is the first dentist in her family. Her passion for science and art resulted in a desire to pursue a career in dentistry at a young age. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Rogers continued her dental education in the Advanced Education Program in Periodontics at NYU, earning a post-graduate certificate in periodontics. During her time at NYU, Dr. Rogers received top awards for her research and published several articles on periodontal disease. Dr. Rogers’ mission as a periodontal specialist is to make every patient feel secure and at ease under her care. Dr. Rogers believes it is essential to make sure her patients feel they are heard and are comfortable expressing their dental needs and desires. She values the importance of patient education, and strives to ensure all her patients are well-informed about their treatment. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Rogers trained as a classical pianist for 13 years. In her spare time, Dr. Rogers enjoys volunteering in her community, spending time with family and friends, and exploring her native New York.
