“Ksenia Bubukina was an amazing doctor! I was coming from another dentist at The Smile Center in the Mission and they wanted to do 4 separate appointments for a deep cleaning, one appointment for each quadrant. We did half of the mouth here today only because of time, otherwise, we could have done the entire deep cleaning in one go! Well do filling and the second half of deep cleaning the next time I come in. She was a clear communicator, knowledgeable, answered all my questions. The front desk was efficient in getting me payment details before starting on the deep cleaning so I knew how much I was paying before any procedure. The office is a bit far but I highly recommend coming here for detailed and efficient work!”

About Dr. Ksenia Bubukina
Dr. Bubukina is a distinguished graduate of the UCLA School of Dentistry recognized for her excellence in restorative dentistry, periodontics, and biomaterials science. After earning her D.D.S., Dr. Bubukina completed the UCLA Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program in Venice serving her community while teaching UCLA's incumbent class of future dentists. During dental school, Dr. Bubukina served as the Chair of the Council on Communication for the America Student Dental Association and as Vice President for UCLA's Women in Dentistry organization.
Dr. Bubukina's volunteer service through CDA Cares, Homeless Connect, Healing California, and Western Los Angeles Dental Society continues to provide services to marginalized communities. Dr. Bubukina's research through UCSF and UCLA in biomaterial sciences has been presented at UCLA Research Day, UCSF Research Day, CDA Presents, International Association for Dental Research, and the Academy of General Dentistry, and Dr. Bubukina's work has been published in various scientific journals.
Dr. Bubukina holds master's degrees in Psychology from the National Research University - Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia. Dr. Bubukina is fluent in English, Russian, with a developing proficiency in Spanish.
In her practice, she adheres to the philosophy of "less is more", prioritizing prevention and oral health education.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Bubukina can be found helping her parents with their baking business, reading a book with a cup of coffee, playing the piano or sculpting clay at the local pottery studio. I didn’t like the rush to leave the off the chair and a hasty manner I was still woozy from the experience and medication. I felt like my safety was in danger to just rush out of the office in that fashion and walk and navigate my way through society and my state of being I thought that was very dangerous. I really didn’t like that.

Deep cleaning went smoothly. The suction device was really effective and made it a better experience then my last deep cleaning.

There was a scheduling issue but the team did a great job of fitting me in. I appreciate how thorough she was and how she helped me understand the health status of my teeth/gums.

I chipped my tooth on a Sunday and was flying out for a Taylor Swift concert Tuesday. I scheduled a 4:30 appt Monday morning and the office was able to get me in and take care of my tooth. They even played Taylor music for me! The dentist took great care to make sure she fixed it properly and even admired her work as I was leaving. I hate the dentist but she was so gentle and caring without even knowing it, I’ll definitely be back. Five stars all around.
