About Dr. Lizabeth Torres

While growing up, I had a fantastic dentist and therefore loved going to the dentist and was never afraid. That is one of the reasons I decided to pursue pediatrics. I want to provide great experiences at the dentist so that children won’t develop that phobia and rather state they love going to the dentist. I am very gentle and calm in demeanor and try to make the process as easy to understand as possible to patients, so the outcome is a positive one for them. I strive to provide an amazing dental home for all of my patients and hope to instill the importance of oral health at every visit in a fun, yet educational manner. I am a “Triple Graduate” of the University of Connecticut. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences and graduated Magna Cum Laude and as an Honors Scholar. I continued at UConn and received my Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree in 2018. During dental school, I volunteered my time at Connecticut Mission of Mercy, the Special Olympics of Connecticut, Head Start, and the Inner City Dental Mission. I also provided basic dental Spanish lessons to fellow students at the dental school. I then completed my Pediatric Dentistry Certification.
