Dr. Nath went to Touro College of Dental Medicine to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery and completed her General Practice Residency at Woodhull Medical Center, where she received training in all disciplines of dentistry for comprehensive and emergency care to patients of all needs. Dr. Nath is passionate about helping her patients feel comfortable and providing the highest level of care. Her compassion and conservative patient centered approach to dentistry establishes trust with her patients to ensure positive dental experiences. I booked with dr Nath but a "Dr Sung" was supposed to the dentist in charge but it was just a hygienist or probably untrained admin person doing the work.
This was a cleaning done in 15 mins..so not very thorough at all, done very hastily and without any care. E.g. imagine the suction tube being dragged across your hair, your face, hitting the sides of your mouth whenever they try to insert into your mouth. Very hasty and rough scraping of teeth, so a lot of sensitiveness and pain when I usually don't experience any. Barely any polishing, very haphazard smearing across your teeth. No doctor to say anything about health of your teeth, any issues you were having, to evaluate the X-rays you took.
This place exists just to get the insurance money. They didn't seem surprised when I said I didn't want a follow up appointment, so I think they get that response a lot. Go anywhere else but here.

Good experience explained everything to me. dr Olga was very nice. Couldn’t get all my work done you have to pay at time of service for things not covered under insurance like deep cleaning. That’s the only down side if they could work out payment plans with you or something would be nice.

I’m sure it’s a great place for adults and people are friendly but wouldn’t recommend for pediatric visit as our visit for my son’s one year dental check was less than 5 minutes with minimal discussion. I had to force questions to hear brush teeth twice a day. Aware there wasn’t much going to happen but was expecting a proper sit down and discussion.

Regardless of the reason for your visit, they'll schedule preventative services i.e. cleaning and X-rays without your prior consent. Clearly state upfront if you DO NOT need or want those services. Be prepared to still need X-rays if they say they can't do exam without NEW X-rays, discuss billing/insurance impacts. Bring your most recent X-rays just in case they're able to work with them.

I went to iSmile in Greenpoint for a routine cleaning— and it turns out I had my first cavity. Not great news, but the team made it so easy. Everything ran smoothly, no wasted time, and they worked together like clockwork. I felt very well taken care of and left the place an hour later without cavity and clean teeth. Thank you!
