About Dr. Luis Camacho

Dr. Camacho graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1992. He also completed a one-year fellowship program in Temporomandibular Disorders (TMJ) at New York University that same year. Since then, he has been practicing in Mayaguez, PR, and now in High Point, NC, where he specializes in Esthetic Dentistry and Invisalign Orthodontics. He has been an Invisalign provider for almost 10 years and is recognized as a key opinion leader in the clear aligner market. Dr. Camacho is part of the faculty for Align, Henry Schein Orthodontics, and Propel Orthodontics. Throughout his 29-year dental career, he has been a clinical researcher and educator, teaching continuing education courses for several dental companies. His main practice areas include General and Esthetic Dentistry, Implant Restorations, Invisalign Orthodontics, Sleep Apnea Treatment, TMJ Treatments, Digital Smile Design, and Healthy Start Orthodontic Treatments. He belongs to several dental associations and serves as a Board Member for the American Academy of Clear Aligners. He was a former president of Invisalign Reengage, a North Carolina-based group called SweetCarAligners, and is currently the President of Puerto Rico Boricualigners.
