About Dr. Magy McKary

***New patients can expect thier first visit to incude a dental exam, cleaning, and necessary xrays to properly evaluate dental needs*** **We do not accept HMO plans or Medicaid at this time** Dr. Magy McKary grew up in Carmel, Indiana, earned her undergraduate degree from Butler University, and went on to attend the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she also had the joy of meeting her husband, Michael Wirey. After graduation, the two relocated to West Virginia so Michael could complete his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and where Dr. McKary built a uniquely well-rounded clinical background in private practice general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and academic dentistry as an Assistant Clinical Professor and managing the urgent care dental clinic at WVU. That combination: private practice, pediatric dentistry, and the breadth of cases that come through a teaching hospital and urgent care, means Dr. McKary is comfortable with everything from a toddler's first visit to a complex restorative case or a same-day dental emergency.

Dr. McKary and her staff are wonderful. They are very good at easing my anxiety. The injection has painless. Wonderful bedside manner. Will be coming here for years to come.

Dr Mckary and her staff were friendly and helpful. She was thorough in her exam, while also taking the time to get to know me. she provided feedback and created trust quickly. I was in and out for a cleaning and X rays in under 5 mins.

I had an upper filling replaced. Dr. McKay was pleasant, informative and efficient. The entire procedure was painless, and Dr. McKay made sure that every step was done to high standards. She adjusted my bite carefully at the end and improved my bite considerably.
