About Dr. Mahmoud Homsi

Dr. Mahmoud Homsi has more than 10 years of experience in dentistry. He studied dentistry in Damascus, Syria and graduated in 2012 with high honors. He then had to leave his country as the civil war broke out and decided to immigrate to Turkey looking for opportunities. He practiced dentistry in Turkey providing dental care to the Syrian refugees making sure they are taken care of as they were navigating their new normal. Dr. Homsi’s passion for dentistry made him pursue further training in gum and implant surgery at Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey. He then met the love of his life, Alaa who was visiting from the United States and they kept in touch until they decided to get engaged. He then joined her in the U.S. and pursued further education to become a licensed dentist. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from Boston University in 2019 graduating Summa Cum Laude and was elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. Since then, Dr. Homsi has been practicing dentistry in Western Massachusetts providing top quality care to his patients including placing implants, fixed and removable dentures, cosmetic veneers and crowns, and orthodontic treatments through clear aligners. Dr. Homsi regularly improves his expertise as a dentist by attending high quality courses at some of the best continuing education institutes including: the Las Vegas Institute, Advanced Implant Educators, Aesthetic Advantage at NYU, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners. Dr. Homsi is also certified in laser therapy by the American Board of Laser Surgery to get the best healing outcome for his patients. Dr. Homsi currently lives in Windham, NH with his wife, Alaa, who is a practicing pharmacist and their two-year old daughter Dalia.
