About Dr. Marco Lu

Dr. Lu obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) professional degree from the National University of Cordoba, Argentina in 1998. He practiced as a general dentist several years before dedicating his career to the field of periodontics and dental implants. Dr. Lu completed his Residency in Periodontics at the University of Louisville (UL), School of Dentistry, where he obtained his Certificate in Periodontics and learned advanced techniques in non-surgical and surgical periodontology, periodontal plastic surgery, microsurgery, laser periodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Lu conducted and participated in several research projects in the field of periodontics and implant dentistry. Through continuing education courses, he stays up-to-date on the most current concepts available in dentistry today. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration.
