About Dr. Mariely Santos

Dr. Santos was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to Florida when she was 9 years old. As a child, it was always her goal to become a dentist. She attended the University of South Florida, where she earned a degree in Biomedical Science. She then decided to return to the Dominican Republic to attend Dental School. She graduated with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 2011 and completed a postgraduate degree in Periodontics and Implantology in 2013. After moving back to Florida, she started preparing for the dental board examinations, which she successfully passed. She was then accepted into the AEGD program at Columbia University and graduated from this program in 2019. She and her family moved back to Florida, where they now reside. Dr. Santos truly believes that being able to pursue her career as a dentist is a significant accomplishment. Being a dentist is more than just a job; it's a passion. Caring for patients, changing their lives, and contributing to their overall health motivates her to continually expand her knowledge to provide the best possible care.
