Dr. Marjorie Baptiste is a Board-Certified Periodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She is an expert in dental titanium and zirconia implants as well as minimal invasive sinus lift procedures. She is versed in periodontal plastic procedures involving tunneling technique gum grafting and the use of platelet -rich fibrin therapy in hard -and -soft tissue regeneration. She has over ten years of experience in these dynamic areas of dentistry. In addition, Dr. Baptiste was program director of the Advanced Program of Periodontics at Lutheran Medical Center (2012-2015) which received CODA accreditation under her leadership. Dr. Baptiste provides nationally hands-on socket preservation as well as basic suture training workshop to a group of general dentists in New Jersey in association with Zimmer Biomet Institute. Dr. Baptiste received her DMD from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 2008. She was honored with receiving the Northeastern Society of Periodontists Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Periodontics. She was the recipient of the Colgate -Palmolive Full Academic Scholarship Award. She earned her postgraduate periodontal and dental implant specialty degree from Tufts University in 2012. Dr. Baptiste was inducted as a fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy on May 30th, 2014. She lectured on "Platelet rich fibrin in periodontal and implant therapy" at the Second District of Dental Society in New York in 2016. She also lectured for the American Society of Ceramic Implantology in Chicago in 2019 on "Zirconia Implants in the Aesthetic and Non- Aesthetic Region-Clinical Follow Up Case Presentations with Supportive Scientific Evidence".
