About Dr. Melanie Jenkins
Dr. Melanie Jenkins is excited to care for patients in the Puget Sound region. Raised in University Place, WA, Dr. Jenkins discovered her passion for dentistry at a young age. Recognizing the transformative power of dentistry in alleviating pain and improving overall health, she was inspired to pursue this field. Dr. Jenkins also feels dentistry drastically improves patients’ self-confidence and has a lasting impact on their lives. She continued to be an active member of multiple clubs, including Global Medical Brigades, where she traveled to Panama to help provide medical and dental care to the indigenous Emberá community. While earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, Dr. Jenkins held many leadership roles and made the Dean’s list. She was her Class Treasurer all four years, held leadership roles in The American Student Dental Association (ASDA), was president of the Cosmetic Dentistry Interest Group, and founded her school’s chapter of The Academy for Sports Dentistry.
Today, Dr. Jenkins thrives on challenging herself with continuing education courses to learn updated general and cosmetic dentistry techniques. Dr. Jenkins is an active member of Spear Education, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Jenkins is also skilled in administering cosmetic treatments through injections, including Botox and dermal fillers.
In her free time, Dr. Jenkins enjoys exploring the outdoors, baking, and spending quality time with friends and family.

The treatment and thoroughness I had with Dr. Jenkins and her dental hygienist were top notch. They had excellent, modern equipment, were very kind and friendly, and left me with that clean mouth feeling that’s so nice when you leave the dentist. I will definitely be back!

Dr Jenkins was very thorough and explained everything that was being done and that needed to be done in the future. She was warm and inviting. Her hygienist was also very thorough and did an excellent job cleaning my teeth and I felt very confident in both her and Dr Jenkins performance.
