About Dr. Melanie Lane

Dr. Melanie Lane is from Pembroke Pines, Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida with her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology having a passion for working out and staying active. Directly after her undergraduate career, she became a double gator where she completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Prior to practicing at Sage Dental, Dr. Lane was living in Asheville, North Carolina providing care to the population of Western North Carolina. She is happy to be back in Florida to be near her family. Dr. Lane enjoys providing a wide range of treatments for patients, such as restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, extractions, dentures, and clear aligners. She comes from a family who have fear of the dentist and strongly believes in educating and communicating treatment options so her patients can trust that their care are in good hands. Dr. Lane completes continuing education courses in her free time to learn new skills and stay up to date on the latest techniques and systems. In her spare time, Dr. Lane enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She has a personal goal of wanting to visit all the U.S. National Parks and is currently a third the way there, having visited 21/63! She is a dog lover and a dog mom to her english creme golden retriever, Luca. She speaks English and Spanish.
