Pursuing her interests in medicine, science, and art, the role of General Dentist was a natural decision for Dr. Melika Kashkouli. The combination of these subjects with the opportunity for personal interaction drives her passion for her work and the various challenges posed each day. Accounting for her patients’ perspective on dentist visits, she strives to deliver comfortable experiences with as little pain as possible. She most appreciates seeing her patients leave with a smile, as well as the confidence gained through their treatments.
A graduate of Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, Dr. Kashkouli was an Honors student and a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. She remains active within her peer network through memberships in the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Kashkouli is fluent in Farsi and enjoys spending time with family, which includes her two sons. Her personal hobbies are cooking, swimming, and traveling.

This was my first time as a patient in need of dental help in a new city and not knowing who to contact.
My wife checked out reviews of different doctors near the area where we live. She chose your office.
My wife called your office to set up an appointment for me.
You were able to see me in less than a week. I have been in some pain for awhile and was hoping that my first appointment with a new dentist could be more than just a consultation/ get to know each other session.
Once I was seated in the dental chair the dental assistant ask me if there was anything specific that I had concerns about. I told her exactly my concerns and she immediately took two X-rays of the area. Within five minutes, the Doctor was in the room and examined the problem area. She knew exactly what course of action to take. The Doctor did not enter the room and ask me to re-verify the problem. She had listened to her assistant well!
This is a very professional practice. And a breath of fresh air.

First time to a dentist office where I didn't feel any anxiety. My entire life have suffered from it especially when it comes to Dr's and Dentist. Not here. Office is cozy and comfortable. Staff is amazing. The office support dog is adorable. Dentist was amazing. Every listened to my concerns, fears, etc. Honestly it's such a relief.

Everyone was professional and courteous. My mom has Alzheimers dementia and recently moved in with us from Arizona. My mom can be difficult to handle but everyone treated her with respect and professionalism. I would highly recommend this office and staff to everyone I know.

I was really happy with my experience at Prestige Family Dentistry. The office was clean and well cared for, the staff was energetic and very intelligent, and my appointment was very timely! I got in right away and they got a lot done in an hour. Best of all, I felt that they really took the time to explain their process of inspecting my teeth. In all my years of going to a dentist, I don't think I've had as thorough of a check-up as I did here!

Super friendly staff and excellent listeners! The hygienist (Jill I think) was very helpful and informative in discussing at-home care and even provided recommendations for products that I could try. At other offices, I often felt that the dentists were in a rush and just trying to get in and out as quickly as possible. Dr. Kashkouli listened to my concerns and shared knowledge and a perspective that was new to me regarding potential causes of some chronic issues I’m having. She had a holistic approach and considered not just the mouth and teeth, but assessed muscles and joints in my neck and jaw. She took the time to explain things to me, asked me questions, answered questions I had. For the first time I feel like my issues are on the path to being resolved!
