About Dr. Meredith Smith-Wiles

Dr. Meredith Smith-Wiles was born in Cumberland, Maryland. She has lived in the Fayetteville area since the age of 8. She graduated from Fayetteville Academy in 1997 and received a 4-year basketball scholarship to Winthrop University. She completed the dental program at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2005. Dr. Smith-Wiles began her career with Village Family Dental in August of 2005. She is currently in our Fayetteville location, where she helps patients throughout the area with their dental needs. Dr. Smith-Wiles is a member of the American Dental Association and the Greater Fayetteville Dental Society. She is also involved with such local organizations as the Cape Fear Valley Friends of the Hospital Gala Committee. She currently resides in Fayetteville with her husband, Dr. Grant Wiles (part owner of Village Family Dental), their three boys, and their Goldendoodle, Rex. In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, spending time with her boys, watching their sports activities, and going to the lake. Dr. Smith-Wiles truly loves her job and states: “I enjoy dentistry and interacting with my patients each day! It is a joy to go to my job every day and to work with such a wonderful staff while being able to treat such great people in this town. Each day is something new!”
