Dr. Michael J. Hudgins, DDS is a proud native Texan who brings decades of experience and dedication to the field of dentistry. Born and raised near Fort Worth, Texas, Dr. Hudgins excelled both academically and athletically in his early years. He was a member of the National Junior Honor Society and the National Honor Society, and was recognized as an All-State defensive lineman with a prestigious “Blue Chip” designation from Texas Football Magazine. Dr. Hudgins accepted a full football scholarship to Baylor University, pursuing his dream of playing professional football. However, a career-ending knee injury shifted his path toward a lifelong passion—dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1981. Over the course of his career, Dr. Hudgins has founded and led several successful dental practices throughout Texas, with a strong focus on providing compassionate and essential care to underserved communities. He is deeply committed to improving access to quality oral healthcare and is known for his patient-first approach, combining clinical excellence with a genuine dedication to community service. Today, Dr. Hudgins resides near Bastrop, Texas. He continues to provide comprehensive dental care with the same passion and integrity that have defined his career for over four decades.
