About Dr. Michael Olson
Our board-certified general and cosmetic dentist, Dr. Michael Olson, has been practicing dentistry since 1992. He recently joined the exceptional dental team at Made Ya Smile Dental in Kingwood, TX. Staying current with the latest technologies and innovations in dentistry, Dr. Olson is committed to delivering unsurpassed care for the needs and desires of his patients in Kingwood, TX. He takes great pride in providing the best dentistry has to offer. In addition to cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Olson has experience and certification in Invisalign® clear aligners, dental implant restorations, root canal therapy, and full-mouth rehabilitation.
Education
Dr. Olson received his undergraduate and doctor of dental surgery degrees in dentistry from the prestigious University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis, MN. He continued his education at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in a general practice residency while serving as a United States Naval Officer. After leaving the Navy, Dr. Olson continued to stay on the cutting edge of dental trends and technologies, and he completed advanced cosmetic training at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies.

In his spare time, Dr. Olson enjoys running, spending time with his dogs, cooking, and relaxing with his friends and family. Originally from Madison, WI, Dr. Olson loves cheering on a great Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers game (sorry, Texas fans).

Tbh, after I lost my insurance during covid, I visited other practices due to affordability, but I'm right back at Made Ya Smile! Dr. Olson is great, he listens to my concerns and always makes sure I understand my treatment options. He takes great care of his patients!

Dr. Olson was simply wonderful, just as I perceived via reviews. He's very clear and precise. He told me exactly what needed to be done, which freed me instantly from all worries. His assistant figured out quickly the cost and ensured I completely understood and satisfied before anything started. I was impressed by their skills and integrity, no compromise to any slight doubt. Gwen was so nice and accommodating on the phone. Construction caused me to be late and the staff understood (thank you so much). I must say I was shocked as the minute I walked through the door the young lady took my picture and didn't tell me why, but thereafter it was explained to me by the hygienist. Top of the line x-rays and care. The hygienist was extremely qualified and gave me a few laughs along the way. The doc was awesome too. Definitely coming back.
