About Dr. Niloofar Crowder

Nellie Crowder, DDS was born in Tehran, Iran and moved to Virginia Beach when she was 12 years old. She realized she wanted to be a dentist while pursuing her dental hygiene degree at the Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. After graduating, Dr. Crowder then went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, graduating in 1997. Dr. Crowder had a wonderful school experience and made several life-long friends, including her husband. With a passion for overall dental health, Dr. Crowder strives to provide optimal comprehensive care to each of her patients. She is a member of the Charlottesville Dental Association and feels fortunate to have traveled to Jamaica to perform volunteer dental procedures on residents of the island.
