About Dr. Omar Amin
Born overseas in Amman, Jordan, Dr. Amin came to the U.S. when he was six years old. His family planted roots in Houston, Texas - the place he's called home ever since. By the time Dr. Amin reached high school and became a star athlete on his football team, he was diagnosed with leukemia. Doctors questioned if he could ever play again, but after rigorous chemo, he emerged in even better shape than before and went on to play football. He never gave up and always strived for the best, which has influenced the way he approaches life and dentistry.
After being exposed to the immeasurable power of healthcare, Dr. Amin knew he wanted to make a lasting impact in the lives of others as a doctor. Blending his passions for people, healthcare, and art, he fell in love with dentistry and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Dentistry.
His past experiences have entirely shaped the way he treats his patients and connects with their struggles. Being on the other end of healthcare, there's nothing he values more than learning each patient's story, building real relationships, and taking the time to understand their needs with empathy and compassion. He seeks to brighten people's lives and give them a smile they feel proud to share. As a Houston native, he feels grateful to have his own practice and to give back to the community he knows and loves. No matter where you are on your dental journey, Dr. Amin is here to come alongside you with expert care, unwavering support, and stunning results.
Dr. Amin is proactive within his local and global dental community. He's a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Texas Dental Association (TDA). Dr. Amin enjoys going on dental mission trips to enhance his skills and serve others. His most recent trip was to Tampa Bay, where he placed implants on veterans through an organization called Smile Faith.

My appointment was set for a simple cleaning, consult, and x-rays. The staff was helpful and informative. Very comforting.
Dr. Amin was very insightful and communicative. He explained things in very simple terms and answered all of my questions.
I plan on staying with this office long-term.

I’m actually from Northern Virginia and travel a lot. I’ve seen dentists in 3 major cities in the past year and by far this practice has been the most helpful and top tier. The process for checking in and setting up appointments was streamlined and easy.
I had two teeth taken out while watching a movie on Netflix here - noise cancelling headphones and all ( I joke you not).
I’ve also had a chipped tooth that no other dentist was able to help with.
They all condemned me to over the top expensive procedures but Dr. Amin was able to take care of it in minutes. He then took the time to walk me through what cosmetic procedures he recommends and what would benefit my needs the most. He was kind, knowledgeable, and genuine. You can tell he pours his heart into his craft.
It was so so reassuring to know I had options and good ones at that. This was definitely the best dental experience I’ve ever had.

The office is impeccable, the staff is polite and efficient, and Dr. Amin is super friendly, approachable, and extremely knowledgeable in his practice. At first contact Dr. Amin and his team were very accommodating with my busy work schedule - they made finding a time that worked with my schedule a breeze. I went to Dr. Amin for a standard teeth cleaning and the experience was all around above and beyond what you'd typically experience at a dentist office. No wait time, headphones and tv were provided during the appointment, and I was in and out within a decent amount of time. I would highly recommend Dr. Amin and his team!

The office was so nice. I recently moved to Houston & found this dentistry. It is a new office and I love it. I was seen right away. I had to fill out paperwork since I am new. My favorite part about the appointment was being able to see exactly what the doctor was seeing on my screen. There was a tiny camera in my mouth. I was able to see the cavities i have.

Definitely the best dental offices I have ever been too. They take you in right away and the entire staff is really nice and professional! The office is so clean and beautiful, and the Doctor is amazing and thorough. If you’re scared of dental offices, the staff makes sure you feel comfortable and they even have TVs everywhere and gives you personal headphones to distract yourself if you’re in a procedure. I definitely recommend this dental office to anyone looking for a new dentist.
