Dr. Palak Patel has been practicing dentistry since 2008 and holds dual dental degrees, a DMD from the highly regarded UIC College of Dentistry, Chicago, Illinois and a BDS from Gujarat, India. While at UIC she got the ‘Outstanding Peer Award’ and was an honors student throughout. Dr. Patel’s practice is big in preventive approach and believes in ‘Saving Every Tooth’ as long as possible if it can function well in the mouth! She treats her patients as a whole being considering all the effects dental problems can have on the whole body, and started her practice with this very philosophy in mind. Her goal is to make the dental visit of her patients so comfortable and pleasant that they do not neglect future dental care and maintain a healthy mouth for life. Nutrition and healthy eating habits are directly related to good oral health and she emphasizes this with her patients. She uses the most biologically compatible materials. Dr. Patel is a certified provider of Invisalign and is certified in Cosmetic Dentistry and Dental Implants. She likes to spend quality time getting to know her patients and understands that the dental needs and requirements are unique to every individual. Her aim is to provide the most appropriate treatment in a painless and comfortable manner. She prides in her hand skills and has an eye for detail needed for great cosmetic results.
