About Dr. Paul Stec
Dr. Paul Justin Stec is originally from Chicago, IL, and practiced in downtown Chicago for 14 years after graduating from SIU School of Dental Medicine with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. While he has a deep love for the city and its food, the cold weather was becoming too much. He decided that a move to a city with an overwhelming amount of live music and warmer weather was long overdue. He and his family chose to make Austin their home!
Beck Commons Dental was opened in 2019 with the commitment to ensure everyone has the best dental appointment each time they visit-so much so that they cannot wait to come back for their six-month cleaning! We promise to keep your appointments friendly, comfortable, and efficient.
Skilled in all aspects of dentistry, Dr. Stec believes in a comprehensive approach to patient care regardless of complexity. As a result of this philosophy, he received advanced training in implant dentistry through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, as well as in esthetics, orthodontics, and management of complex cases. All aspects of your dental care can be completed at Beck Commons Dental to help protect, restore, or create the smile you desire. He prides himself on offering consistency and continuity of care, where you will always see Dr. Stec. You will not be subject to a constant rotation of unknown dentists or feel lost in the shuffle.
When not performing dentistry, Dr. Stec loves to spend time with his family. He also enjoys going on long runs and bike rides to continue his triathlon training.

Dr. Stec’s friendly demeanor put me at ease throughout the visit. He listened to my questions and concerns and clearly explained possible solutions. A treatment plan was developed and explained to me before leaving the office. My overall experience was very positive!

Wait time was short. Staff was friendly and professional. Dr Stec provided a complete explanation of needed procedure. Going to the dentist is never fun, but they made it a good experience.

Dr. Stec and his team were lovely. I was seen quickly and out of the office in less than 1 hour for an exam & cleaning. Office was clean, tidy and well maintained. I know a lot of people don’t love visiting the dentist, but I can’t wait to come back!

Best dentist I’ve ever been to. No exaggeration. It’s not the usual cold, quiet other than drills and machines running, dull environment I’ve experienced. The people are so cool, play great music, constantly make sure you’re comfortable. I’m super happy and scheduled my 6 month checkup on the spot. Also, I loved that they are mindful about the lighting and gave me sunglasses when the chair was leaned back.

Doesn't accomodate to the patients pain tolerance level. Too new as a dentist and doesnt feel comfortable as prescribing correct medicine to treat patients discomfort after being the person causing it.

Will never go to another dentist again. He was welcoming. Explained everything in detail. My night guard that I got didnt fit correctly he got me in the next day did the repair on site.

From the moment I walked in until I left, I felt taken care of! The dental assistant (forgot her name!- she's from Ohio) and Paul were very friendly, funny and complimentary! Made for a very nice dentist visit! Definetly will visit them again in 6 months.
