About Dr. Peter H. Chen

Peter H. Chen DDS, MBA, DMSc is a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics with an outstanding academic resume and excellent clinical experience. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr. Chen then completed a rigorous four-year residency program in orthodontics at Harvard University, where he also received a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. In addition to his clinical training, he conducted numerous research projects and concurrently earned his Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) degree from Harvard. In recognition of his work, Dr. Chen was awarded the prestigious Harvard Presidential Scholar Award. In addition to private practice, Dr. Chen is a Clinical Instructor of Orthodontics at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where he teaches hospital residents and treats orthodontic and cleft lip/palate patients in the faculty practice. His vision is to provide a perfect smile and a healthy bite that is custom-made for each patient, and his guiding principle is to treat each and every one of his patients like he would treat his own family.
