Dr. Pirouz Khoubian is a dedicated dentist specializing in tooth extraction and Implant dentistry. He earned his D.D.S. degree from NYU College of Dentistry. His commitment to advanced dental care led him to complete a general practice residency at Jamaica Medical Center, followed by an Oral and Maxillofacial internship at Mt Sinai Hospital-Jacobi Medical Center. During this time, he developed expertise in complex surgical procedures including: wisdom teeth extractions, bone grafting, tori removal, alveoloplasty, and Implant placement in addition to treating patients with emergencies.

I have no idea how the doctor is, but my issue is with his office.
I booked for an appointment last week and the night before my appointment, I got a call saying(how convenient)
that the dr won’t be in the office on the day but suggested I go to Jackson Heights(this was a comment by another patient which I ignored because it seemed circumstantial.) I didn’t want to go there(his office is on my block) (fool me once)
I booked for another appointment for today. I didn’t get a call so I thought everything was good to go. When I got to the office, one of the staff told me that they only had the oral surgeon on site, and no one to do dental check up(which is what I booked for) I didn’t even want to hear what she was about to suggest(yet again) because this is the second time(literally a week apart) that this happened. Lol!

Farm mentality. They tried to get me to go to their Jackson Heights office after I told them I wanted an appointment where I live in Astoria. Finally got a time in Astoria, which they overbooked and made me wait an hour to be seen (I was 5 minutes early for my 1pm appt, I left at 1:50 when they told me I’d be seen in another 10 minutes). So they basically said, “Our time is more valuable than yours.”

We Smile dental office and Munez Dental are two clinics but same owners . Anyway, they only care about making more money. they wanted to do a root canal for the tooth that is holding the bridge while they know that tooth will be extracted because it is infected and decaying inside and they are very greedy and focused on out of pocket payment
