Dr. Johnson is a friendly, caring, personable, and compassionate dentist serving the DMV community. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Johnson completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Nassau University Medical Center, which strengthened her surgical and emergency medicine skills.

Awful experience. I had severe pain and my tooth was filled without proper investigation and assessment. I had to seek care elsewhere. It is also very bizarre how they require payment PRIOR TO providing treatment. Terrible practice. It appears as if they’re trying to make money and not trying to provide proper healthcare. The dentist also did not call and follow up. Calls were made by staff and after I complained about further pain, the dentist herself did not call and follow up.

I had never heard of this place until my husband Googled it and it just so happens to be the place of choice for what I was having done. I needed to have an emergency extraction and Dr. Johnson and her staff were not only very professional but, efficient, caring and sympathetic. They reassured me that I was in good hands. The made me feel so comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place for all your dental care needs.

I am so grateful to Dentcare Now!!! I knew I needed a lot of work and I needed to find the right dentist. After searching online and perusing reviews I made an appointment at Dentcare Now. I met Dr. Johnson and she immediately made me feel comfortable. After my initial exam she took the time to explain to me about the dental implant process. She gave me 3 choices and estimated what each treatment would cost. I expressed how anxious I was and she was reassuring explaining sedation options. The office is immaculate. The office staff is amazing! Everyone is welcoming, professional and kind. Bessy and Cordai painstakingly assisted with the numerous fittings and were patient and reassuring that it will all be worth the wait. I am happy to say that after a few visits my implants are in! Dr. Johnson has a keen attention for detail and made sure I was completely satisfied. I was always so self conscious about my teeth and wasn’t able to enjoy eating because of my dental issues. I am happy to say that I can smile with confidence and can once again enjoy eating! I am forever indebted to Dr. Johnson and her incredible Team. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

I had an issue that was causing some pain and sensitivity and they were able to see me very quickly. I was looking for help on a Saturday and was able to get help at 1130 the next day! That was the first time I've ever been able to see a dentist on a Sunday. Not only did I get seen immediately, but the issue causing me discomfort was resolved the same day--even though it required some fillings! Dr. Johnson did a great job explaining what was necessary and being up front about cost. I believe it was comparable to what I would pay anywhere else; not an emergency rate by any means. The anesthetic worked just fine and the drilling work was gentle. I also got to listen to music on headphones they provided to help me remain comfortable. This has become my go to dentists office for the hours and service. I had a great experience.

Dr. Johnson is the best!!! She is professional and takes good care of you. When I went for a cleaning, she had informed me that I would need a bone graph on a few of my teeth. I had known that for quite sometime but being with her made me feel comfortable and I put my trust in her over many other dentist that I’ve gone to. She did an excellent job on my bone graphs and she knows how to take care of her patients. I wish there were more dentists out there like her. She’s truly one of a kind.

Omg got a tooth pulled and not only was the dentist completely gentle she was a great coach she assured me I was doing great and before I knew it the wisdom tooth was pulled. I never left a dentist smiling now I know why all the other patients were so excited to enter the dentist!

This is a great dental practice. Easy access, very zen, spa-like setting, excellent staff and top of the line equipment like low dose digital x-rays and 3-d pix of your teeth that appear on ipad screen in front of you. The front desk staff is very pleasant, always accommodating and very patient. Dr. Johnson is the best. I have an extreme fear of dentists and had to get a wisdom tooth pulled. I was seen as soon as I walked in the door and was done and out in 40 minutes. The actual extraction was completely painless. Not even a twinge. I love this practice and definitely recommend it.

On my first visit to this office I must admit it was one of those days. The office was beautiful which made me feel a bit more peaceful. There happened to be an emergency with another patient which caused my appointment to be a bit late. The staff and dentist all showed concern and did what they could to get me to next appointment on time. The next day I went back and was greeted so graciously by the receptionist it made me feel she truly cared. She was in no hurry to just get me out of there. So now I have a dental plan and appointments set up to take care of my teeth. I would rate my experience 11 out of 10. ??

Great first visit experience, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They seem well-organized and knowledgeable. They addressed every concerns I had with patient and understanding. They were on time and the only time I took before going in was filling the paperwork. I am really comfortable dealing with these people and I expect my next visits will be as great as this one.

I didn’t know what to expect with the New Patient special. Boy did I get a treat. Lovely office space brand new. Professional administrative staff and most of all —- they were punctual with Sunday office hours. It didn’t hurt & she explained every part of the process carefully asking if I had any questions & was comfortable. If you’re looking for convenience state of the art dental run don’t walk to Dentcare!

Dr. Johnson does all my dental work, I’ve had a root canal and crown done by her. After having a difficult experience at another dental office and this place welcomed me and easily helped me get through everything I needed. I get so nervous getting shots and I felt so comfortable and safe at this place, the humming and singing the dentist does while working on my teeth is what made me most happy and comfortable I really trust in this place highly!! Would recommend to all of the DMV!!!

The staff here are awesome. Dr Johnson (yes the actual dr) has called and checked on me a couple times to see how I was recovering from my wisdom tooth extraction because the procedure was a little rough. Every time I walk in there I am greeted with smiles and laughter. They make you feel at ease because nobody likes going to the dentist office but I must say I don't mind going there. I am truly grateful for them and I appreciate the staff being concerned about me. They are the best??

Dr. Johnson is by far one of the best dentists. She has great chair-side manners and she is very comforting, friendly and personable. She listens to your concerns and takes time to explain to you what is going on in your mouth, your treatment plan options, and what procedures she will be performing. I was very impressed by her patience, service, gentle care and excellent dental work. If you're looking for a great dentist who cares about your health as well as your smile, I highly recommend Dr. Johnson.

This was my first time coming here, I was nervous because I had never been to the dentist. I had a problem and found out I had gingivitis and a cavity. Dr Johnson and Bessy were very helpful and friendly and did their best to make me feel comfortable, my wisdom teeth were pulled out because one of the teeth had the cavity. Dr Johnson is very funny and kind, not many dentists are not like that. Bessy and the receptionist are very friendly as well, I will be coming back again her from now on to get my teeth cleaned.

This office was great and so helpful! Was visiting family over the weekend, and had a terrible tooth ache. I was not from around here so I was going to wait until I got home the following Tuesday but could not wait. I google'd emergency dentists and selected Dentcare Now since it said they were open on Saturday. I called and they told me to immediately come in. The office was clean, staff attentive and nice. Ended up having an extraction unfortunately, however it was pain free, was still able to enjoy visiting the family. Thanks Doc!

I have always hated going to the dentist but Dr. Johnson is the first dentist that has really made me feel comfortable. She took the time to explain to me what I needed and why I needed it. It made me feel like she genuinely cared and wasn't just out to make money. Everything was painless! I would highly recommend her to all of my friends and family!!

I don't know where to begin. Being very fearful of the dentist I didn't know what to expect on My visit. I had to have extensive work done. I couldn't believe how comfortable they made me feel that I scheduled the procedure the next day. The entire staff is responsible for putting a smile back my face. Thank you Dr. Johnson.

The staff is extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating. Someone is always there to answer your questions and you always get a prompt response. I love working with Dr. Johnson, she has a very charismatic personality. I've been with the majority of the dental assistants and they are all fantastic.
