When I went to this dentist they told me that I didn't have any cavities but I needed a deep cleaning. They quoted an extreamly high price for the cost of the cleaning. I have a friend that is a dentist that I ended up going to for a second opinion about 3 weeks later. I didn't go to her initially because she doesn't take my insurance. She told me that they were over charging and it should have been about a quarter of the cost I was quoted. She completed an exam and saw I had 3 cavities and you could clearly see them when she took photos and x-rays. She went over this throughly with me, which Gold Coast did not do. The cost of the deep cleaning was a quarter of the cost of Gold Coast Dental. Gold Coast clearly did not know what they were doing.
