About Dr. Richard Ricci
Dr. Ricci completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at New York University and has been practicing in Manhattan since 1992. Our office offers all dental services from general dentistry to cosmetic services. Dr. Ricci is trained in multiple implant systems such as Bicon, Zimmer, Nobel Biocare. A native New Yorker whose education began in Adelphi Academy in Bayridge. After earning his D.D.S. degree, he returned to academia and earned a Masters of Science in oral anatomy. Dr. Ricci is widely published and is considered an expert in dentinal tubular morphology. Dr. Ricci frequently attends continuing education courses. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Ricci is also the recipient of the prestigious F.A.G.D fellowship. He is trained and licensed to perform Enteral Conscious Sedation. He is certified in Invisalign and has training in rotary endodontics.
He is the chairman of Computers for Kids, Ltd. This non-profit corporation and IRS sanctioned 501(c)3 donates computers to children of economically challenged families. In his spare time, he enjoys sport fishing, power kiting and scuba diving.

As someone incredibly afraid to see dentists, Dr. Ricci made my first visit with him for a routine cleaning the best experience I've ever had. He had great bedside manner and was thorough in taking the time to explain what to expect every step of the way. It was completely painless!

Dr.Ricci was very warm and comforting. I was nervous and he made me feel at ease. He is personable. The cleaning was quick and painless. I also got a cleaning kit (electronic toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, and dental floss) So sweet! The woman that did my x-ray was very nice and patient with me because the procedure was very uncomfortable for me. She walked me through the steps. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be coming back!

I recently moved to NYC from California and was in need of a new dentist. I stumbled upon Dr. Ricci on Zocdoc and decided to give him a chance based on his reviews. It was a great decision! The office was clean and easy to locate, the staff was friendly. Dr. Ricci was polite, gentle, and even had a sense of humor (which definitely helped given the situation!) And most importantly, he was incredibly knowledgeable and walked me through exactly what was wrong with my teeth. The overall experience was quick and easy - he was even willing to perform a procedure on-the-spot so I wouldn't have to take off work to come back another day. I already have my next appointment set and am thrilled to have found a dentist in the city that I can trust!
