Karolina at the front desk is wonderful. Her customer service goes above and beyond. I felt the same about every single staff member there. She reached out to me to make sure all my paperwork was in order before I even got to the office for my first visit. She has been helping me with getting my claims in order too. The overall experience was excellent. I had appointments with the dental hygienist and the periodontist. Both were patient and attentive and communicated clearly and effectively. They were also solicitous of my concerns. It inspired confidence that I made the right choice. I would highly recommend Dr. Romano's practice.

Dr. Richard Romano and team were super friendly, professional and informative. They explained in detail the procedures that was taking place, answered all of my questions and concerns, and provided next steps. The office was clean and well equipped with all that’s needed to perform their job effectively and efficiently. Such a great experience. I came in with a lot of dental issues and I now have fast actions planned to better my oral health and fix issues. He was genuinely caring and as gentle as he could be. He was a great listener. I never felt like I was being talked down to or rushed out of the chair.
The staff is the kindest. They were personable and empathetic. I’m looking forward to becoming a familiar face to these professionals.

Dr.Romano and his team were very thorough in the work they do at the office. First off the administrative team was on top of making sure that the appointment was properly scheduled and confirmed days before the appointment and also checked and informed me of the insurances coverage.
As for Dr.Romano he was very attentive and spared no time to help explain everything that was going on with my teeth in great detail. He was patient and helpful by answering ALL my questions with very helpful responses. I was also easily able to reschedule another appointment to follow up on all the work needed to be done after my first visit.

I cannot thank Dr. Romano enough! Before I visited Dr. Romano, I visited three other dental offices, all by friends referrals and five-star review practices. I am sure they are all great dentists, but I never spent more than 5 minutes with the dentists, and they didn't really examine my gum/teeth even though I repeatedly said I had bleeding/gum irritation. Much work was left to the hygienists, each of whom told me my gum was fine.
I found Dr. Romano on Zocdoc; I decided to give it a try after I moved to Brooklyn. During my initial appointment with Dr. Romano, he personally conducted the initial evaluation, was very thorough on each step, and explained to me what he was doing. He was very honest with the treatment plan, and was not trying to sell me any unnecessary work. Needless to say, I was surprised that he did everything himself during our initial appointment. At the same time, I felt relieved that finally someone was listening to my concern and willing to provide the care I needed.
So far, I have completed the treatment at Dr. Romano's office. I can testify that he is extremely skilled and thorough. His support staff are warm and professional. His hygienist is much better than the ones I have encountered before, too. I would for sure stick to Dr. Romano, and I recommend him to anyone who needs dental care.

My regular dentist is in the city but due to CoVID I opted for something closer to the neighborhood. There were some admin issues getting my x rays from my regular dentist, but that was resolved.
The office is nice, clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.
I went in for a regular check up and cleaning. The hygienist was kind of rough. It wasn't the most gentle experience, but overall her bedside manor was good and it was an effective cleaning.
Dr. Romano was good. Gave sound medical advice to the best of my knowledge. He gave me a wet wipe at the end of my session which was kind of weird, but no big deal.

It was going well until Dr. Romano threw a hissy fit because I did not want to get my cavities filled right away. When I asked for more information about the cavities they found he immediately took offense and tried to hurry me out of the office. When i confronted him he insisted hes the most honest dentist in Brooklyn and doesn't see why I wouldn't just trust his opinion and go through with the procedure. His patient relations rep was very pleasant and took control of situation and helped to mediate whatever issue was happening between me and the doctor. It seems the doctor has a lot of these interactions which is why he has a patient relations manager on site.

Super kind staff!! Dr. Romano was very knowledgeable and wasn't dismissive like my last dentist. (I would definitely be wearing dentures soon if I kept going to my previous dentist.) The dental hygienist at this office was very thorough. Best office I have ever been to! It was a long travel for me to get there, but was totally worth the gas and time. After years of searching, I finally found a permanent periodontist and I have hope that I will never lose a tooth!
