About Dr. Rohit Patel
After graduating at the top of his class, Dr. Patel earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University. He then continued his postgraduate studies in Endodontics at Columbia University, School of Oral Medicine, New York, where he also received a Certificate in Endodontics. Dr. Patel's keen interest in dentistry led him to a research project titled "Factors Affecting Transplanting Teeth." He was appointed as an assistant clinical professor of dentistry at Columbia University and later taught at the Montefiore Medical Center, Department of Dentistry, New York.
Dr. Patel has been a leader in the dental community, serving as President of the Mount Vernon Dental Society and Treasurer of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin. Recently, the Westchester Magazine Survey recognized Dr. Patel as a "Top Dentist 2012." He is actively involved in the Ninth District Dental Society, serving on the Children's Dental Health Committee.
Dr. Patel regularly attends advanced training courses, assuring his patients of the most up-to-date treatments possible. Our office is staffed with highly skilled, experienced dental specialists, hygienists, dental assistants, and administrators to deliver everything from simple to the most advanced dental treatments.

The didnt accept my insurance even though the app said they did. When I call to confirm my appt, they had no clue about it and said they have no one to see me. The later called me to let me know that they don't take my insurance.

I had a great experience... they charge a 14% for any card use including debit and credit cards. If you have to pay copays via cash or check to avoid the 14% card fee.

This dentist is primarily concerned with selling Invisalign braces. It hurt a lot when I was getting the x-rays taken. They offered fluoride treatment, never applied it and then called trying to charge me for it. Made me wait after the appointment to have a "consultation" about invisalign, that I did not ask for.

His staff are excellent. The cleaning was great. He did a great job fixing my cavity, and when my bite didn't feel perfect afterwards he made some small adjustments so that my bite was normal again. Only downside was that there was a bit of selling on other elective treatments during the course of the visit. Other than that I'd highly recommend.

Estimate was far off from what I was charged. According to them, the procedure would be about 80% covered. Little did i know that i was more like 10% covered and had to pay out of pocket for the rest.
