About Dr. Roya Zojaji

Dr. Roya Zojaji became a dentist because she loves both art and science, and dentistry is a perfect blend of the two. She realized dentistry would allow her to improve her patients’ quality of life and appearance while giving her flexible hours so she could still be a mom. Dr. Zojaji received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 1985 and began her career working as a general dentist in Toronto, Canada. After she moved to the United States, she completed a two-year advanced general dentistry program at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, NY. She then completed a periodontal residency at the University of Texas at Houston in 1998 and received a Master of Science and certificate in periodontics. Dr. Zojaji is board certified as a periodontist by the American Academy of Periodontology since 1999. Patients enjoy her treatment because she genuinely cares about them, strives for excellence, and is a good listener. Her favorite part of her job is simply the appreciation her patients show her. Away from the office, Dr. Zojaji enjoys spending time with family and friends as much as she can, hiking, group exercise, and occasional painting.
