I often get asked how I ended up becoming a dentist. Honestly, it wasn’t my first choice of career path. As a kid, I dreamed of playing first base for the Atlanta Braves. I actually was pretty apprehensive about going to the dentist as a kid, thanks to a broken tooth during a flag football game (long story). Thankfully, I had several dentists as family friends who mentored me and helped me overcome my apprehension, eventually sparking my interest in a career in dentistry. I love what I do, and I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished because I get to help people smile every day. Dr. Crain was born and raised in Broken Arrow. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005 from the University of Oklahoma. In 2017 he completed a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. After graduation from OU, he operated a private practice in Texas for 15 years. He has recently relocated to Tulsa to be near family members and enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, rodeos, and his sweet labradoodle, George. He loves traveling to the Smokey Mountains and Caribbean beaches and follows OU sports, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Atlanta Braves.
