He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Maryland School of Dentistry and was one of the six top students in his class who were accepted into the Diamond Scholars program. By his final year in dental school, he developed a strong interest in periodontics. He then continued his education in the postdoctoral specialty residency at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he received his Certificate in Periodontics. Always striving for increased knowledge, Dr. Azad has accumulated massive hours in continuing education far beyond the yearly requirements needed. It is his solemn promise and never-ending quest to stay abreast of all clinical advances to constantly fulfill his vision of providing the optimal patient experience through his compassion, specific attention to detail, and uncompromised excellence of care in an unparalleled environment. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Mahsan and his son. He also enjoys traveling, skiing and watching movies.
