About Dr. Seth Newman

Dr. Seth Newman is the founder of Straight Set Orthodontics. Built on the principles of providing an exceptional experience, you will notice the difference from the moment you walk through the door until you leave with an amazing smile. Straight Set Orthodontics has grown to serve patients throughout the greater New York metro area.
Dr. Newman not only expects excellence from his team of doctors and staff in customer service and clinical care but also holds himself to the highest standards as an orthodontic provider. He is continually learning so that he and his team can implement the latest orthodontic innovations.
His passion for orthodontics recently culminated in a book he authored called *Giving It to You Straight*. The book combines their passion for customer service and orthodontics and was intended to simplify orthodontics for patients.
Dr. Seth Newman is a board-certified orthodontic specialist with over fifteen years of experience. He is a graduate of Binghamton University and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated at the top of his class. He received multiple honors and awards, including induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Newman furthered his education at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and completed his post-graduate studies in Orthodontics at New York University College of Dentistry. While at NYU, Dr. Newman served as a clinical instructor for the Invisalign appliance. He is also a past clinical attending doctor at Northwell Health (formerly LIJ).
Dr. Newman and his wife, Stacey, reside in Roslyn, Long Island, and are the proud parents of two sons, Alex and Charlie, and one princess, Kaylee.
