During residency, he particularly enjoyed the lectures on prosthodontics and comprehensive case-based treatment planning, which reinforces his approach to multi-disciplinary care and long-term restorative planning. Dr. Serrano especially enjoys the moment when treatment really changes how a patient feels—when pain or sensitivity is gone and they can finally relax again. Restoring comfort and helping someone feel good about their smile is the most satisfying part of the job for him. Dr. Serrano is a born and bred New Yorker. He lived in Queens his whole life—attending elementary, middle, and high school there—before heading to the Bronx for undergrad and staying in the Big Apple for dental school. When Dr. Serrano is not in the office, you can find him hitting the gym or volunteering with the kids and young adults at his church.
