About Dr. Shannon Hassin

Dr. Shannon Hassin received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo. After dental school, Dr. Hassin chose to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. Dr. Hassin practiced in Charlotte, NC until she decided to move back to the beautiful Lowcountry! Dr. Hassin has a passion for giving back to the community, both at home and abroad. She volunteers her time giving to the underserved and utilizes her ability to speak Spanish to communicate with patients that would otherwise have great difficulty understanding their treatment options. She has traveled to the Dominican Republic and various areas of the United States participating in Remote Area Medical trips. Dr. Hassin is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, South Carolina Dental Association and Hispanic Dental Association. In her spare time, Dr. Hassin enjoys spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the beach, trying new foods and restaurants and riding her Peloton bike. She also loves spending time with her English Cream Golden Retriever, Blu!
