About Dr. Shannon Parsons

Dr. Parsons received his dental degree from the University of Florida where he graduated with highest honors and third in his class. He then attended a three year residency in advanced Periodontics training at the University of Florida where he served as chief resident for two years. After completing his residency, Dr. Parsons returned home to Charlotte to begin his private practice. While building his practice, Dr. Parsons served as Secretary and President of his local dental society. Being dedicated to the highest level of patient care and continuing education, Dr. Parsons is an active member of the following organizations: American Academy of Periodontology American Dental Association Academy of Osseointegration American Academy of Implant Dentistry Dr. Parsons has developed various dental technologies, and holds multiple US patents. These technologies have been integrated into his practice. Dr. Parsons has been married for twenty-five years to Shae, whom he met while attending UNC Chapel Hill, and they have 3 beautiful daughters! When away from the office, Dr. Parsons enjoys boating, family trips to Disney World or the beach, and cooking on his smoker or grill.
