About Dr. Shannon Pye
Dr. Pye was born and raised in Walterboro, South Carolina. It was his love of the low country and small-town life that brought him back in 1999 when he purchased the practice of Dr. John Tennant. Dr. Pye is a 1994 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Martin Army Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. He proudly served in the United States Army Dental Corps from 1994 until 1999.
Dr. Pye values quality dentistry and honesty in his work, and he never settles for anything less than what he feels is best for his patients.
Dr. Pye has three children: Haley, Conner, and Charlie. He is an avid bow hunter and sports enthusiast, and he especially likes softball. He also loves to cook!
