About Dr. Shanta Veeramachaneni
Dr. Shanta Veeramachaneni (Dr. V) was born in India and grew up in Michigan before moving to Texas during high school, where she has lived ever since. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry.
Dr. V is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is dedicated to lifelong learning and continuously advancing her skills.
Understanding that oral health significantly impacts both the well-being and confidence of her patients, Dr. V recognizes that dental anxiety often prevents people from maintaining their oral care. She takes extra time to educate and support her patients, helping them feel more comfortable and reducing their fear of dental visits. Her goal is to make every appointment a fun and welcoming experience.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. V enjoys puzzles, hiking, and gardening. She is also an avid Aggie fan, so be sure to visit the clinic and give her a thumbs up and a “gig 'em!”

First of all, I was not seen by the provider I booked an appointment with, which was frustrating because I specifically chose a female provider and then was shocked to see a man walk in the room. Secondly, I asked the front desk to check my insurance and assure me I wouldn’t pay a dime when I walked out. After my appointment, they tried to charge me anyway.
This dentist office is exploitative and has no transparency when it comes to prices. They have posters everywhere spouting how they care about you as a person first, but try to take every dollar they can, including trying to make you feel insecure about your teeth and sell you cosmetic fixes by trying to trick you it is for your health.
Do not go to this dentist office. Find a dentist who is honest and trustworthy. These people are thieves.

For a first visit, everything was fine.
The dental assistant, Rosie, was caring, friendly and efficient, and Dr. Veeramachaneni explained the imaging thoroughly and pointed out areas that will require closer attention. The visit was not rushed and Dr. V gave recommendations for dental care and asked if I had further questions. I look forward to working with her in the future.

First time at the dentist in many years. All of the staff from the receptionist to the doctor were professional and communicated clearly. Although I was only scheduled for a dental exam, they were able provide additional services to the appointment including a cleaning and a filling. I will certainly be returning to this office. 10/10 would recommend.

Maria, (dental assistant) Jennifer (hygienist) & Dr. Veeramachaneni are THE dream team! I came in for dental pain, but was also due for a dental cleaning. Dental pain was diagnosed and I got a much needed cleaning.
Maria is organized and clear with instructions, Jennifer conducted a pain free cleaning and Dr. V was just beyond phenomenal. All 3 women were gentle, kind and knowledgeable.
I was surprised and delighted that even on their intake forms they give you the opportunity to explain why you may struggle with dental care and if you’ve had bad or maybe even traumatic experiences with dentists—this is when I knew this would be a no judgement zone. I’ve known too many people who say their dental teams shame them, but not these 3. They’re determined to address issues, and come up with a plan to get you to optimum dental health.The office is clean, and up to date with the latest technology.
I feel confident in my dental health journey here and excited to refer family and friends.

I normally do not do reviews but this place was amazing fast and friendly. Dr.V is amazing and made me and my wife both at ease when we came in extremely nervous not knowing what to expect. Here we were treated like people and welcomed like family. Best dental experience in my life. Wonderful place and very diverse. I love it thanks again to both the doctor and the amazing assistant who made us feel like family since we stepped foot inside. This place can not be topped.

This was my first time at this dentist office & it was a very good experience. The facility is very clean & someone acknowledged me with 10 seconds of walking in the door. There wasn't a front desk person but I could see a dental assistant & she said hello within seconds of me walking in. All the dental assistants were friendly & very understanding & informative with me. Dr. Veeramachaneni was great! She had a positive, caring, knowledgeable & trustworthy presence. She went over all of my x-rays & scans and explained exactly what was going on with my teeth. Which I really like, and we discussed my plan moving forward. I feel better knowing my teeth will be on the right track. Thank you Renken Dentistry! I'll see you on my next appointment!
