Dr. Sherrie Smith-Scot Dr. Sherrie Elizabeth Smith-Scott is the senior doctor at the Great Expressions Jonesboro-Mt. Zion dental office. She has been with GEDC for 22years and thinks of her patients as family. She specializes in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, and strives to provide each patient with gentle, compassionate, and high-quality dental care. Dr. Smith-Scott graduated from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry after matriculating from Fisk University after her junior year of college. She furthered her dental education by earning a post doctorate degree in General Dentistry from the world renowned Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York. Her years of service earned her the distinction of being a proud member of the American Dental Association Northern District Dental Society. In 2018, she was awarded the High Heels Trumpet Award for her reputation of excellence. She is married to a wonderful husband and they have two handsome sons."
