About Stephen Strout

Stephen Strout graduated from the University of Florida, college of Dentistry in 2001. While in dental school he developed a passion for periodontics and implant dentistry. He continued his education by completing a three year surgical residency at the University of Florida, Shands Hospital with a major focus on Periodontal Plastic Surgery, Guided Tissue Regeneration, and Implant Surgery. While in his residency he acquired a Masters Degree with his master Thesis on “The Relationship Between Systemic Lupus Erythematous and Periodontal Disease.” He completed an externship in Anesthesiology at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Strout completed a two part rigorous examination process in 2008 to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and continues to participate in over 30 hours of continuing education yearly. His goal is to continually stay up to date with the most current knowledge and technology related to his profession.
