My many experiences has kept me away from the dentist as each time I lost good teeth and the bad ones stayed put! I was not disappointed by my choice! This dentist is handsome, kind , gentle and pure of spirit, a true professional! No wait time each visit and doctor was very pleasant in explaining what I needed to fix. My previous dentist wanted me to get a crown on my front tooth. I was skeptical and wanted a second opinion. He confirmed my suspicion that it wasn’t necessary, almost to disbelief that it was even suggested. I appreciate his honesty on what needed to get fixed and what didn’t. I chose to pay out of pocket to see him since my insurance didn’t cover, but was willing to shell out the fees for quality care. Thank you!

Dr. Kim and the team at Norman Dental Center are great. The office is simple but clean and Dr. Kim always makes sure to listen attentively to any pains or questions, explain things clearly, and keep me at ease during appointments. Visited after seeing a great review of him on zocdoc to get a second opinion on a diagnosis that didn't seem quite right, and was going to be a very daunting, pricey process. The doctor was very knowledgeable, attentive, and patient - turned out that this previous diagnosis was all wrong. He answered all my questions in depth and cleared all my lingering questions for me to be to very clear about what is the next step - highly highly recommend.

I’ve been to the dentist in many countries and Dr. Kim is by far one of the best. After several procedures my teeth have never looked better. He’s a great listener, very easy to talk with, and gentle - I barely noticed afterward I had my teeth cleaned or a cavity filled. He caught several things previous dentists have missed, isn’t pushy at all, my appointment started on time. Like other dental offices in Greenpoint, the front desk women lack basic manners passive aggressive and weird, might be a cultural thing.

Fantastic experience. They knew my name when I walked in (first time coming). Didn’t have to fill out a single form, and the experience for my cleaning was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Dr Kim was knowledgeable, kind, and gentle. The whole visit went so quickly and efficiently, but the team was still thorough, answered all my questions, and even gave me a referral I needed. Would definitely recommend!

Dentist was informative throughout process explaining the x-rays and what I needed to continue doing to prevent cavities and gum recession. Cleaning was done by the dentist.
The rep at the front desk asked for my social security # when I was checking in and made it seem like it was required for the visit. This information is not needed for medical purposes ; name, DOB and ID will suffice (I work in healthcare so I know SSN is not a requirement). Found the way she asked and why I needed to provide it to be off putting but that has nothing to do with the dentist rather the business practice of the facility.
