About Dr. Tanya Vaysman
Dr. Vaysman is an accomplished, respected, and highly qualified orthodontist utilizing the very latest techniques in orthodontic treatment. Her practice prides itself on excellence in technical acumen and patient rapport, specializing in "invisible" treatment for adults of all ages and providing the very best quality care in pediatric orthodontics.
Dr. Vaysman received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, followed by earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. During dental school, Dr. Vaysman was the recipient of multiple honors and awards, including the Academy of Dental Materials Award and the American Association of Women Dentists Colgate-Palmolive Research Award, where she was one of just ten nationwide recipients. She graduated in the top 5% of her class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Vaysman completed a two-year postgraduate program at New York University Dental School, earning her Certificate in Orthodontics. She has also recently been appointed to the Orthodontic faculty in the Department of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.
Dr. Vaysman resides on the Upper East Side with her husband and their two young children.

Two of my daughters have been treated by Dr. Vaysman. One more complicated than the other. Dr. Vaysman has
always been attentive to them, explaining the process as she moves along. I have appreciated that she never seemed
to rush, both in the appointments and with the overall treatment and makes sure we understand next steps. Her staff is
great-friendly, courteous, and accommodating.
The difference in the smiles of my daughters is incredible. Now they both have school photos where they are actually
smiling!

Dr. Vaysman and the whole office are great. Their communication system is the best I have ever seen, they replied to my email within minutes. My consultation appointment was very thorough she went over all the different options with me and didn’t just tell me what I wanted to hear like some of the other place did. She also spends a lot of time with me personally versus passing me on to one of her staff member after the initial 5 minute exam. I am so excited to be beginning my process with them as I know I am in good hands.

The time I picked on zocdoc wasn't available, so I had to select another time, which was inconvenient. I saw another orthodontist prior to Dr. Vaysman and the experience was much better. All she really did was look at my teeth and gave me pricing for invisalign. I expect a little more than that when I am going to pay thousands for orthodontic work.

I had my braces consultation today. I saw Dr. Vaysman and she was really nice and upfront.The staff was really friendly too. but I'm not so sure if I will be able to keep up with my transportation as I live kind of away the city.

She actually came out and greeted me personally, which was the first doctor I've seen so far who does this! Fairly professional, very kind, and well-mannered. But It would be even better if they could give more discounts for students like some other orthodontists I visited before, especially when I've already offered to pay everything at once.

Dr. Vaysman was fantastic! Not only was I seen immediately, but she was thorough, gentle, honest, and overall the very best orthodontist that I have ever seen! The office was beautiful, high-end, and very pleasant. The doctor took the time to answer all of my many questions and was very professional and understanding.

Explained everything to me from the procedure to exactly how the insurance payments would work and was willing to take as much time as I needed to answer any and all questions. Dr. Vaysman has good reviews for a reason. She was kind, informative and professional. She sat with me for at least 30 minutes discussing braces and invisalign plans. I have not received treatment from her, but I give her an A+ for the consultation.
