About Dr. Tayeeb Faruk

Dr. Faruk is a native of Northern Virginia. He earned his dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, he went on to serve as a Captain in the United States Air Force. He was stationed at Bolling AFB in Washington, D.C., where he completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). From there he transferred to McGuire AFB in New Jersey, where he met his wife, and finally to Incirlik AB in Turkey. He then left active duty and practiced in New York City. After spending two years in the big city, and a total of six years away from Virginia, he decided to return to the state he loves to settle down. Dr. Faruk’s focus in dentistry is on patient-centered care, with an emphasis on patient education. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, being active, and enjoying the culture of the city.
