About Dr. Thomas Garrett McDaniel

Dr. Garrett McDaniel was born and raised in the Laurinburg and Wagram area of North Carolina. He is a 1999 graduate of Scotland High School. Dr. McDaniel received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the North Carolina Dental Society (NCDS). Dr. McDaniel practiced dentistry in Raleigh, NC before returning home to join Village Family Dental. As a native of Scotland County, he is excited about the opportunity to return to provide excellent oral health care to the residents of his home community. He states: “I’ve been fortunate and I’ve always wanted to return and give back to the place that gave so much to me growing up.” He currently resides in Pinehurst, NC with his wife and their two daughters. Dr. McDaniel is an avid Tarheels fan. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing sports, music and traveling.
