About Dr. Timothy Hang

“I work with the Golden Rule: To treat others as I would like to be treated.” Inspired by a family member who worked in the dental field for many years, Dr. Hang saw dentistry as an impactful way to help others. In his words, he chose dentistry because he felt a desire to assist those in need of medical or dental attention. The part of his job he enjoys the most is making people happier with their smiles, and while doing so, he also shows patients there is no need to feel intimidated by going to the dentist. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, Dr. Hang joined Carol Stream & Elgin Dental Associates in December 2001, where he practices all phases of general dentistry with a special emphasis on aesthetics. His work is known for its relaxed and calm manner. He always strives to convey these feelings to patients and make treatments as comfortable as possible. Outside the office, Dr. Hang enjoys participating in his local church activities and traveling to visit his large extended family whenever he has the opportunity.
