About Dr. Tina Jung

Dr. Jung graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she excelled in a rigorous dental and medical curriculum and learned from several of the leading clinicians in the fields of implant surgery and restorative dentistry. She received awards for outstanding academic achievements from Columbia University, including the Pierre Fauchard and Alumni Award for Excellence.
Dr. Jung pursued additional specialty training with a three-year residency at the University of California, San Francisco. At UCSF, she earned a Certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science degree for her research on periodontal microbiota in collaboration with Stanford University. Training with world-renowned professors prepared Dr. Jung to keep current on cutting-edge technology and incorporate science-backed methods to provide the best outcomes for her patients.
Dr. Jung is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. With a fierce determination to provide her patients with the most comfortable, predictable care with state-of-the-art technology, Dr. Jung pursued additional training in laser gum therapy, gum recession treatment, bone regeneration therapy and computer-guided implant solutions. She lectures on periodontal topics and is a Periodontics Clinical Instructor at UCLA.

I had an excellent experience at Premier LA Periodontics & Dental Implant Center. I visited after breaking a tooth and needed an extraction and dental implant. The staff was very professional, friendly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Dr. Tina Jung is highly skilled and explained every step of the procedure, ensuring I understood what to expect. The extraction went smoothly, and the recovery has been much easier than I anticipated. Highly recommended (if you need periodontal care!).

Listen. I had a gap in front of my teeth that I was super self conscious about I heard treatment of this sort can really be painful, but I had a close friend recommend Dr. Jung. Dr. Jung changed my life. Period. Not only was the treatment seamless AND painless, but now I can smile and eat freely and focus on living m y life! Her staff made me feel super cared for, and I swear Dr. Jung has the softest touch you could ask for. She was kind, professional, and really reassured my wracked up nerves. 12/10 to Dr. Jung - THANK YOU!!!

Dr. Jung and her team were awesome! I was so nervous coming in to get gum surgery but they made me feel so at ease. Dr. Jung was so attentive from start to finish, she even called me to check up on me after my surgery. The office is super clean and I felt a huge sigh of relief knowing that I'm in good hands. I don't want to go through surgery again, but if I had to I would definitely come back.

Okay, so this is my second time going to Dr Jung (first time to this location)- now I can say GO HERE!!!!!!!! She guided me through my implants and I event got to get the laughing gas LOL my implant has healed nicely and I can bite into food again. BTW I am loving the vibe to this office. Super chic, staff is friendly, and fantastic results. Highly recommend.

Dr. Jung and her team are incredible! Jennier at the front desk is so sweet and patient over the phone and made me feel
at ease. When it was time to see Dr. Jung, I was nervous but she instantly made me feel comfortable with how gentle and attentive she was, she frequently checked in with me, making sure I was comfortable, everything was still pain free, and if I needed any breaks. I also really liked how nice she was with her staff too.
I have pretty intense anxiety about going to any dentist and pretty sensitive gums but it was crazy, for once, the numbing really was "just a pinch" and not a stab in the face. The procedure went really smooth and healing was nice and easy. Even though this was the most intense dental procedure I'd ever had, it was the best dental experience I've had.

Dr Jung made me feel so welcome. There was no wait time, which is a huge plus. I got a
gum graft- I had what you call “bunny teeth” and wanted to fix that. Basically my teeth were
showing too much and my roots were exposed. My procedure came out super pretty and
natural, you can't even tell that I got a graft. The down time was very minimal! Thanks Dr Jung!

Amazing periodontist. I had a gum graft several years ago to a small portion of my gums in front of one of my lower front
teeth. I recall the cutting, grinding, etc. - not the first thing I would voluntarily do again...
I just had a similar procedure done bilaterally on the buccal (cheek side) of my lower gums by Dr. Jung that was a much
easier, quicker, painless and more pleasant experience than before. I was actually surprised when the whole thing was
over (so fast). Dr. Jung appears to really know what she is doing. I highly recommend her.

Had both bottom wisdom teeth removed today by Dr. Jung. She's a Periodontist who was referred to me by my regular
dentist and good friend who I trust and have been going to for over a dozen years for routine dental care. She did a great
job numbing me to the point that hardly felt anything when she removed the wisdom teeth and even added a small bone graft where I had some bone loss from an infection in the neighboring wisdom tooth that she removed. She's a really nice person as well as a great Periodontist. Definitely recommend her!

I was referred to Dr Jung for a gum graft, and my experience with her was fantastic. The procedure went so smoothly, it
was like she was just casually rearranging furniture. I've had several complex dental procedures (maxillofacial surgery,
for example) and this was by far the smoothest I've experienced Amazing surgeon!
Maybe not surprisingly, I was also informed I don't floss frequently enough. Not the first time I've heard that feedback, but in this case our discussion has actually elicited action on my part. SO kudos to her for that.
Overall, the experience is all very calm and professional, and you walk out feeling a bit more put together, both literally
and figuratively.
