About Dr. Varun Yadav
MEET DR. YADAV
Hi, I'm Dr. Varun Yadav, a general dentist in Sunnyvale, California. I was born and raised in New Delhi, the capital city of India. I immigrated to the United States when I was 10 years old and have been living in the San Francisco Bay Area ever since. I have always been interested in the medical field, solidifying my foothold in dentistry during my third year of undergrad. Now, I live in the beautiful city of San Ramon, enjoying hobbies such as cooking, hiking outdoors, and spending time with my family.
My parents always wanted the best education for me growing up. I attended Roseman University of Health Sciences in Utah, where I received my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. My school excelled in the field of general dentistry. Not having specialty programs within the school meant we got to see all the cases that came through the door. I excelled specifically in Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics (full mouth rehabilitation cases), and Orthodontics.
During summer breaks, I volunteered at non-profit clinics such as the Indian Hospital in Claremore, Oklahoma, and the Bright Island Outreach Program based in the Dominican Republic. While in school, I advanced my education by taking courses in advanced implantology and grafting techniques. I hope to continue my education by taking more courses on topics such as cosmetics, sedation, and advancements in techniques and materials used in dentistry.
My dental philosophy is to spread education to my patients. Rather than following the mantra of drilling and filling, I want to get to the root cause of patient problems. If you are getting a lot of cavities, we should look into getting you an electric toothbrush. If you are grinding your teeth, we should consider a night guard. Prevention is the answer to all things dentistry-even our brothers and sisters in medicine have noticed.

There was no pain during the appointment. The dental hygentist was very gental and made being at the dentist very comforting. Dr. V was kind explained any issues I had perfectly. Great front staff.

Dr. Yadav was very informative and knowledgeable. Daniela was also knowledgeable and kind. I came here to get my wisdom teeth extracted b/c of the pain and Dr. Yadav let me know that my wisdom tooth was infected b/c it didn't fully come out of my gums. Dr. took out of my wisdom tooth with no complications. 10/10

I had a great experience with my favorite Dentist. Dr. Yadav and staff are friendly and give a clear picture as to what to expect. I have my multiple teeth cleaning sessions and wisdom tooth removal. My experience has been great.
