Dr. Vicky Athanasiou graduated from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 2015. In 2016, she completed a rigorous one year GPR Residency Program at Montefiore Medical Center. Since then, she has taken advanced education courses, notably in cosmetic and implant dentistry. Her passion is to improve people's smiles both functionally and cosmetically.She started SMILELOUNGE with a vision to set a new standard in dentistry. The waiting time was reasonable, and the front desk staff were kind and welcoming. The dentist was polite and listened to my concerns. However, during the procedures I felt the pace was somewhat rushed and not as gentle as I would have preferred. I also left feeling a bit unsure about whether my issue was fully resolved.

The office was great- everyone was very warm and welcoming, the actual facility was in great shape and aesthetically pleasing, and there was literally no wait time. The actual appointment (cleaning + exam) went incredibly smoothly, and they talked me through all my options for follow ups. I will be back and would recommend to anyone!

10/10 would recommend Vicki to anyone. I was biking and face planted and chipped my teeth very bad and she was able to get me looking better than before in only a few hours! The office is gorgeous too, as well as great ambiance with music in the background while waiting. Not hoping I get into any more accidents soon, but if I do it’s awesome knowing I have a great place to go to with better people!

So happy I found smile lounge! Beautiful office, and incredibly kind staff!
I went for a cleaning and have to have some more work done, the dentist and hygienists i saw were wonderful . They talked me through all my options, they clearly explained why i would need it and how i could take care of each issue. They were also so thoughtful and put on chapstick for me during the cleaning lol.
I was also very impressed by how high tech the machines are. The xrays were quick and easy. I also had my mouth scanned and could see a model of my teeth and how they would be corrected over time, it was really cool.
Highly recommend!!!

The staff members were super nice and the check-in process really smooth, done via a link to your phone! I was thoroughly explained each part of the process and given recommendations for next steps. As someone who is traditionally anxious before visiting the Dentists office, I was incredibly appreciative for the lengths this team went to in order to ensure my comfort / ease of experience.
