He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University through an accelerated 7-year BA/DDS program, graduating magna cum laude. His academic excellence was recognized with the prestigious Dr. Edward G. Kaufman Award, presented to the top 1% of students with the highest academic performance. With a strong clinical focus in surgical dentistry, Dr. Cho completed multiple externships in oral and maxillofacial surgery and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Honor Society, which honors outstanding clinical skill and professional conduct. His advanced skillset in complex restorations, root canal therapy, and dental implants has been developed through a combination of continued education and hands-on experience. Prior to joining New London Dental Care, Dr. Cho practiced in both Philadelphia, PA and Torrington, CT, where he further honed his clinical techniques and deepened his commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered dentistry. Dr. Cho takes his patients’ oral health seriously and is deeply committed to helping them achieve long-term dental wellness.
