About Dr. Zahra Bagheri
Dr. Zahra Bagheri is a uniquely qualified and highly trained dentist, as she is one of
very few dentists worldwide to hold two dental specialties. After receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, she subsequently pursued advanced education at Boston University earning her specialty degrees in both Periodontics and Prosthodontics. Following her interest in learning more about implant dentistry she earned a Masters in Implantology.
Her intense training plus extensive background in research provide expertise and
insight on the most updated materials and surgical techniques. Her passionate, and
patient-centered approach to dentistry, deliver the best functional and visually
appealing outcomes. Treatment is catered to patients case by case, and her years of
experience in the field allow for successful treatment in implant, aesthetic, and full
mouth rehabilitation cases.
Dr. Bagheri is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology and
currently a Clinical Associate Professor at New York University College of Dentistry.
Additionally, Dr. Bagheri lectures internationally and is an active member of the
American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and Academy
of Osseointegration. In her free time, Dr. Bagheri enjoys working with the
community, spending time with family, travelling, and poetry.

She was 45 minutes late to my appointment! Although she was nice, I basically waited way too long and had to reschedule to finish the exam for next time - so inconvenient!

Dr. Bagheri is slightly intimidating and i felt was more interested in getting me a gum surgery to undo recession, which was not the core reason i was visiting. Maybe it is essential, but that was not my gut instinct.

Dr Bagheri was very thorough and passionate about giving me the best implant possible. She redid an implant because she didn’t think it would last long enough. Her high standards make me feel that I’m getting excellent care.

Dr. Bagheri is a very good caregiver. She works with confidence, but checked in often to make sure I was comfortable. My sense is that Dr. Bagheri had a very good understanding of the situation , she described what she was doing precisely but without too much information, She was very willing to answer questions and gave a good overview of the procedure. She worked at a steady rate, with precision and empathy. I felt very comfortable and relaxed.

I had a great surgery with Dr. Bagheri. Very funny so I felt relaved, and the surgery went very well. No wait time and very accomodating staff at the office. Highly Recommend!

Dr. Bagheri is highly professional and trustworthy. I had 3 implants that needed to be extracted and restored - a lengthy, costly, and painful undertaking, which was why I consulted with several periodontists. I opted for Dr. Bagheri and never regretted it. She has done an excellent job. Troughout the entire process, she was going step by step, focusing on the longevity of her work and always having an alternative plan if the original one wouldn't work or I couldnt afford it.

I had a front tooth implant procedure with Dr. Bagheri, who was really patient and easy to communicate with. I can always get prompt response whenever I had questions or concerns. She is a perfectionist who is willing to contribute time and effort to achieve the best result.
